The Mullan Contracting Company won an Awards of Excellence from ABC Baltimore for the renovation of the St. Ignatius Loyola Academy, a tuition-free independent Jesuit middle school located in Baltimore City that relocated to a new building on 300 E. Gittings Street in Federal Hill. In the space of less than one year Mullan completely refurbished the 27,000 square foot building which encompassed the upgrade of all classrooms, science laboratories, the gymnasium and the library-media center as well as an installation of a new elevator. The new school approximately doubled the amount of space it previously occupied.
