• Lutherville resident Alec David Miran, longtime producer at CNN, dies at 69 (capitalgazette.com) — Lutherville residents are remembering longtime CNN special events producer Alec David Miran, who died Aug. 14 at his home at age 69. Miran, a veteran of major global news coverage, worked remotely from Lutherville for decades and also ushered at Orioles games. A funeral service is set for 11 a.m. Sept. 11 at St. Thomas Church in Owings Mills.
