Missing Baltimore County Teen Found Dead Near Brooklyn: Police
Devon Ireland, who was reported missing in Baltimore County, has been located deceased, investigators said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A missing Baltimore County teen has been found deceased, according to police. Devon Peter Ireland was found dead in a vacant home on Washburn Avenue in the Brooklyn area, officials said.
The investigation into the death of Ireland is ongoing and is a joint effort between law enforcement in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Officials said that city police responded to a vacant home on Friday, June 29, on Washburn Avenue, where they found Ireland deceased inside.

"According to investigators, there were no signs of trauma or foul play," the Baltimore County Police Department said in a statement on July 17. "Police were unable to positively identify Ireland until July 16."
Police have said that the family of Ireland was notified on July 16 that his body had been found.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of his death.
PREVIOUS REPORT: A teen is missing in Baltimore County, and police have asked for help locating him. The boy has been missing for nearly two weeks, authorities said Monday.
Devon Ireland, 17, of the 11900 block of Thurloe Drive, was last seen the morning of Tuesday, June 26, according to police.
Ireland is described as 5-feet-9-inches tall and 172 pounds. At the time of his disappearance, officials said he was wearing black Adidas slides, black pants and a black t-shirt.
