Timonium Motorcycle Show: Hours, Tickets, Special Display

New displays and old favorites return for the 2018 Timonium Motorcycle Show this weekend.

TIMONIUM, MD – The Timonium Motorcycle Show is happening at the Maryland State Fairgrounds this weekend. The show runs from Friday, Feb. 9, to Sunday, Feb. 11. All ages are welcome.

Custom and antique motorcycles will be on display, in addition to the latest 2018 models from BMC, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki and more. Dragsters and many other types of bikes are included in the show.

A special feature is "one of the rarest collections of museum-quality vintage BMW bikes covering nine decades of German design and innovations," organizers say. Bob's BMW of Jessup, which curated the display, is also offering free virtual reality test rides.

Several competitions will be held to judge motorcycles in categories such as best paint and best display. Prizes total more than $20,000. There will be a bikini contest as well.

The show will be at the Cow Palace at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road, Lutherville-Timonium. Hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 9, and Saturday, Feb. 10. Hours are 10 am. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11. Parking is free.

Tickets are free for kids younger than 9; they are $5 for children 10 to 15 years old for a one-day pass; and they are $11 for adults for a one-day pass. This price reflects the $7 discount available by purchasing tickets online. Tickets are also available for purchase at Bob's BMW in Jessup, Harley-Davidson in Rosedale and Pete's Cycles in Bel Air, Fullerton and Severna Park.
