103-Year-Old Bridge 'Off Limits' To BCPS Buses: Report
Built in the early 1920s in Cockeysville, the Warren Road Bridge is again drawing safety concerns in Baltimore County.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A bridge more than 100 years old is being designated off-limits to school buses, according to a report.
An investigation by WBAL found that buses operated by Baltimore County Public Schools are being detoured from the Warren Road Bridge due to safety concerns.
The bridge was built in 1923 over the Loch Raven Reservoir in Cockeysville and has repeatedly raised concerns about its deteriorating condition.
