2 Baltimore Co. Men Facing Attempted Murder Charges Over July Shooting

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Two men are each facing over a dozen charges for a July 20 shooting that saw another man shot during an armed carjacking in Randallstown.

The Baltimore County Police Department identified the pair as 19-year-old Cordell Jefferson and 20-year-old Garrin Davis.

Court records show that of the 16 charges both are facing, a total of nine account for felony-grade offenses. They include:

• First- and second-degree attempted murder
• First-degree assault
• Carjacking and armed carjacking
• Unlawful taking of a motor vehicle
• Robbery and armed robbery
• Theft between $1,500 and $25,000

The remaining charges range between second-degree assault and a mix of gun offenses, such as using a firearm in a felony crime.

Police said Jefferson and Davis had shot a man after attempting to pull him from his car in Randallstown. The shooting resulted in the man suffering a non-life-threatening injury.

The incident occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. near Downey Dale Drive and Church Lane.

Both remain held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center and are expected to appear in court Monday for a bail hearing.

Preliminary court hearings are scheduled for Sept. 4.
