3.5-Mile Backups Reported On I-695 In Baltimore County
BREAKING: Traffic alert for those taking the inner loop of Interstate 695 Saturday afternoon.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Emergency crews are blocking lanes on the inner loop of Interstate 695 near Charles Street Saturday afternoon. Backups in the area were estimated to be 3.5 miles, the Maryland State Highway Administration reported at approximately 4:30 p.m.
The two left lanes and left shoulder were closed because of debris in the road, according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team (CHART).
