Police Identify 7-Year-Old Girl Killed In Accidental Milford Mill Shooting
Baltimore County Police said the Milford Mill shooting was an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the community.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A girl killed in an accidental shooting in the Milford Mill community was identified by police on Wednesday as 7-year-old Alayah Terrell.
Baltimore County Police were called to the 7800 block of Selgrave Road around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday after receiving reports of a shooting.

At the scene, authorities found Terrell suffering from a gunshot wound to her upper body. She was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Trae Corbin, of the Baltimore County Police Department, said the case was an isolated incident and that there is no active threat to the community.

Corbin did not specify how the girl obtained the gun or what type of gun was used, but did state adults were believed to be at home when the shooting unfolded.
Officials are awaiting the results of an autopsy. No further details were released.
An investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
