8 Burglaries In Towson Precinct Appear Related: Police

Stoneleigh, Loch Hill and Idlewylde have experienced a crime trend, Baltimore County police reported.

TOWSON, MD — Burglaries in three Towson neighborhoods are being investigated as related, according to the Baltimore County Police Department. Officials reported that the burglary cases appeared to be similar in an update on crime trends on Nov. 1.

There have been eight similar burglaries to residences in the communities of Idlewylde, Loch Hill and Stoneleigh since Oct. 5, according to police. Five of the cases involved no force, according to authorities.

  • Jewelry and televisions were stolen.
  • Most of the burglaries occurred Thursdays and Fridays from 9:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m.
  • Three occurred overnight.
  • Three involved force; in two, rear glass doors were broken, and in one, a front window was forced open.
