Towson Area Citizens on Patrol and Baltimore County police are offering an active shooter training in Timonium.

TOWSON, MD - From Towson Area Citizens on Patrol: What would you do if you were confronted by an active shooter? It can happen you! It can happen to anyone, anywhere at any time. Do you know what to do to protect yourself? Knowing the critical steps to take could save your life and the lives of your loved ones.
On May 2, 2018, at a free public seminar, Baltimore County Police Officer George Mussini will tell you what steps to take to protect yourself in a mass shooting. The Towson Area Citizens on Patrol (TACOP) and the Police and Community Relations Council (PCRC) are once again sponsoring this popular session where Officer Mussini will outline key steps to take to protect yourself if you are confronted by an active shooter.
Mass shootings are happening in this country at an alarming rate. Most occur in places where there is a large crowd, like schools, shopping malls, parking lots, restaurants, churches, hospitals and workplaces. These incidents are unpredictable. Active shooters bring an average of four weapons to unload at each mass shooting and are frequently mentally troubled.
