TOWSON, MD — Reginald Gray Jr., a 33-year-old Baltimore man, was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Towson University student Nasir Majied.
Baltimore County Police announced Thursday that Gray was being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.

The announcement of Gray's arrest comes a week after police identified the 33-year-old man as a suspect in the shooting investigation.
At the time, police had called on the public for their assistance in tracking down Gray. It's not clear whether authorities were aided in their search by a resident who alerted officials.
The investigation, arrest and charges all stem from the June 5 shooting that took place on the northbound lanes of York Road, where a shooter targeted Majied as he was driving his car.

Majied had been shot multiple times by the driver of a second car, according to police, who said road rage may have been a factor.
Investigators have not specified a motive in the case.
