Wearing their custom-designed T-shirts for the occasion, ACTC volunteers and church members headed the parade as Grand Marshals. Cathy Burgess, director, and Pat Phelps, president, waved from the first car, followed in the second car by volunteers Larry Fresh and Mark Stokes, with Rev. Fred Weimert, Calvary Baptist Church pastor and a founder of ACTC in car No. 3. Lindy Utermohle, the center's first director, waved from the "water mobile" at the rear of the procession, behind representatives of ACTC's 48 churches holding signs that designated all of the different ones. They led off a great parade.
