Assistance Center of Towson Churches: Rubble Rousers ...
Some volunteers hauled off rubble while others created more on the ninth consecutive Saturday, August 4, of ACTC's expansion/renovation project. That team's job was to break up and remove cinder block from the back wall of the oldest section - one of the last steps needed before cement pouring for the new floor can get underway. Meanwhile other volunteers worked on finishing the job of roughing in the new windows. Thanks to Lorraine Anderson and Leslie Strawhand who served lunch to the hard working crew. Happy birthday to one of the volunteers - Yarb Ballard - who celebrates turning 81 years old this week.
