UPDATE: Baltimore County Public Schools Issue Monday Decision
The school system made schedule change for Monday, March 2.

UPDATE (5:50 a.m.)—Baltimore County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, March 2.
Due to below-freezing temperatures, the National Weather Service issued a special weather statement Monday morning alerting people to the fact that untreated surfaces are icy, particularly sidewalks; in addition, weather officials said that fog could limit visibility to one-quarter mile.

School officials issued the announcement Sunday night.
The county was under a winter storm warning for freezing rain until 3 a.m. Monday, with the potential for ice accumulation of one-quarter inch that could make driving dangerous, according to the National Weather Service.
There were reports of ice across Baltimore County by Sunday evening. Preliminary information provided by the National Weather Service indicates there was 0.2 inch of ice in Catonsville by 6 p.m. and 0.25 inch of ice in Kingsville at 4:45 p.m.
