Teen Hospitalized After Arbutus Shooting: Police

A 16-year-old was injured in a late Friday shooting that police believe happened after an argument broke out in Arbutus.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A 16-year-old was shot late Friday in Arbutus, according to police.

A Saturday release issued by the Baltimore County Police Department said the incident took place on the 3300 block of Washington Boulevard. Police were called to the scene shortly after 10 p.m.

The teenager, authorities said, suffered a non-life-threatening injury after engaging in an argument off the Route 1 corridor. Police did not identify the second individual.

Police said charges are pending and that the investigation remains ongoing.
