Baltimore Sun: Superfresh Looking to Sell Stores
In 2010, the grocery chain closed several stores in Maryland, including one in Towson
The Baltimore Sun reports that the parent company of grocery chain Superfresh wants to sell 22 of its 24 remaining stores in Maryland.
The Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co. aims to sell 25 locations total as it emerges from bankruptcy and pays its debts. The sales, if approved by a bankruptcy court, would be completed in mid-June.

Superfresh currently operates two stores in and around Towson—one at the Towson Place shopping center on Goucher Boulevard, and the other on Aylesbury Road in Timonium.
