BCPS Changes School Calendar For Presidents Day
One day that was slated to be a holiday will instead be a school day, Baltimore County Public Schools reported.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County Public Schools will be open Feb. 17, which is Presidents Day.
On the originally approved school calendar for 2019-2020, that was to be a day off.
Now schools and school offices will be open Monday, Feb. 17.

The local school board announced that it was proposing making Presidents Day a school day but it was contingent on approval from the Maryland State Board of Education.
Officials from Baltimore County Public Schools reported Wednesday that the state board approved the change.
