BCPS Makes Weather Call For Saturday, Jan. 18

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Baltimore County Public Schools has canceled activities scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 18. This includes school-sponsored events and those held at school buildings.

Officials cited the impending inclement weather in making the decision.

Baltimore County is under a winter weather advisory from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. During that time, 1 to 3 inches of snowfall is possible, according to the National Weather Service. Up to 0.1 inch ice could also accumulate, weather officials said.

Drivers should anticipate slippery road conditions that will require slowing down and increasing following distance.
