Building Cleared After Bomb Threat On York Road: Police
Police said the building on York Road was deemed all clear after and evacuation and search Thursday following a bomb threat.

TOWSON, MD – A building in the Towson area was evacuated Thursday morning temporarily due to a bomb threat, police said. The building had been cleared as of 11:45 a.m., officials said.
Authorities said they were called to the 6400 block of York Road around 9 a.m. after a bomb threat came in over the phone.
The building was evacuated as a precaution, officials reported, and after a search of the building, authorities said they had found no evidence of a dangerous device.

All employees returned to work once the building was cleared, police reported at 11:42 a.m.
The threat was received at the Drumcastle Center, according to ABC 2 News, which has its broadcasting station nearby.

The Drumcastle Center houses the Baltimore County Department of Health.
During the investigation, ABC 2 News reported that York Road was closed between Gittings Avenue and Overbrook.
