Burglary Suspect Hears Scream, Goes Out Window: Towson Crime

Three burglaries were reported in Towson in two days, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

TOWSON, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department has provided the following information about recent incidents in the Towson area. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Two purses were taken in a residential burglary in the 100 block of Greenbrier Road. The bags, which had been in the kitchen, were later recovered. The suspect go into the residence through an unlocked window between 8:35 p.m. on Feb. 7 and 7 a.m. on Feb. 8.

A burglar was caught in the act when someone was home during a break-in. At 3:38 a.m. on Feb. 7, he was climbing into the dining room window when the victim screamed. The suspect, who had broken the window out of the residence in the 1500 block of Cottage Lane in the burglary, ran away.

Two vehicles were stolen from a residence in the 1600 block of Feldbrook Road. The suspects came into the home through an unlocked back window between 11 p.m. on Feb. 6 and 5 a.m. on Feb. 7. They took multiple items in the burglary, among them two vehicles.
