Towson Sees Rash of Bias-Related Vandalism: Report

Spray-painted words and symbols have reportedly cropped up around Towson.

TOWSON, MD — Several cases of vandalism possibly motivated by bias are under investigation in Towson. There have been seven such incidents in the area since last week, Officer Jennifer Peach told Patch on Friday.

Bias-related crimes are motivated in part by racial, religious, ethnic and sexual orientation.

"We still can't verify whether or not any of the cases are related," Peach said, noting that police are pursuing a lead at the moment.
