Car Thieves Target YMCA Parking Lots: Police

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Several vehicles have been stolen from YMCA locations across the county in recent months, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

Parking lots at YMCA facilities in the Towson, Parkville, White Marsh and Wilkens precincts were targeted, police reported.

There were seven thefts from Y parking lots between Jan. 11 and April 15, according to police.

"Most of them over the last few years have occurred at the Towson YMCA," Cpl. John Wachter told Patch.

Wachter said a suspect has not been identified in the case.
