Charge Dropped Against Wife of Baltimore County Police Chief
Court records show case against Rebecca Johnson has been dismissed.

An assault charge against the wife of Baltimore County’s police chief has been dismissed, according to court records.
Rebecca Johnson, 56, of the 1300 block of Marquis Court in Fallston, pleaded not guilty to one count of second-degree assault.
Her daughter, who alleged that Johnson had hit her during a fight, would not testify in court Wednesday, resulting in dismissal of the case, according to WBAL.

The charge stemmed from an altercation on June 1, after the daughter asked for paychecks and the discussion escalated into a physical fight that traveled throughout the house and spilled onto the deck, The Baltimore Sun reported.

Johnson is married to Baltimore County Police Chief Jim Johnson, who said he was working in Baltimore County at the time of the dispute.
