• Towson Chamber of Commerce warns against disruptive crowds after parking lot gathering (foxbaltimore.com) — Towson business leaders are urging visitors to behave responsibly after hundreds gathered in an Allegheny Avenue parking lot last week, leading to two arrests and a bar briefly closing when its door was damaged. The Chamber of Commerce says recent grants have funded more cameras, lighting, and security, and it's working closely with Baltimore County Police as Towson confronts ongoing public safety concerns near the mall and Towson Circle.
   

• Baltimore events honor 9/11 in 25 years since attacks (wbaltv.com) — Towson residents can join a 2,987-step 9/11 Memorial Walk on Sept. 6 at Johnny Unitas Stadium, honoring each life lost in the attacks. The guide also highlights other Baltimore-area tributes, from bell ceremonies on Putty Hill Avenue to stair climbs, motorcycle rides, and concerts, offering many ways to remember and support first responders and veterans.
   

• Archbishop Lori welcomes students to 'wonderful school year' (catholicreview.org) — Students at Immaculate Conception School in Towson kicked off the new school year with a visit from Archbishop William Lori, who greeted families and joined assemblies focused on faith, community, and "Holy Moments." The archbishop also visited Immaculate Heart of Mary in nearby Baynesville, where leaders marked the school's 75th anniversary and outlined a yearlong spiritual theme for students and staff.
