Crash Closed York Road In Towson: Police

TOWSON, MD — A stretch of York Road was closed in Towson Monday morning due to a crash, according to police. The closure was just south of the Towson University campus.

Several vehicles crashed on York Road at Worcester Road, according to police. The intersection is near the entrance to St. Joseph Medical Center.

York Road was shut down in both directions, police reported before 8:30 a.m.

York Road had reopened to traffic by 9:40 a.m., according to Towson University communications, which reported the campus shuttles had been temporarily rerouted due to the incident.
