Crash On I-695 Near I-83 Jams Traffic

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — There are delays on Interstate 695 along the inner loop near the I-83 interchange Monday afternoon, according to transportation officials. The two-vehicle crash happened on I-695 past the Greenspring Avenue exit.

The inner loop was closed during the response to the crash, which occurred just before 1 p.m., and the right shoulder was the only area open.

By 1:25 p.m., transportation officials reported lanes had reopened.

Traffic cameras showed bumper-to-bumper traffic remained as of 1:30 p.m.

Speeds in the area of I-695 at Stevenson were 6 mph, according to state transportation data.
