Crash On I-695 Near Providence Road Reported

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Multiple vehicles have been involved in a crash Sunday afternoon on the beltway near Providence Road.

At 2:38 p.m., Baltimore County fire officials reported there had been a three-vehicle collision on the inner loop of Interstate 695.

The crash occurred between Providence Road and Loch Raven Boulevard.

One vehicle was smoking, officials said.

While initial reports indicated one person may have been trapped, officials later said that no rescue was needed.
