Cromwell Valley Elementary School Closed Early
A power outage caused early dismissal Tuesday, school officials said.
Because of a power outage, Cromwell Valley Elementary Regional Magnet School was dismissed at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to school officials.
A fallen tree/limb caused the outage on Providence Road just after 11:30 a.m., according to BGE, which projected power would be restored in the area by 2:45 p.m.
School normally dismisses at Cromwell Valley at 3:50 p.m.

Temperatures in Towson were set to hit 96 degrees on the heat index at 3 p.m. The actual temperature was 90 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
