Police said a man died when he was ejected from his vehicle on Interstate 83 at Ruxton Road early Wednesday morning.

BALTIMORE, MD — A Towson man died early Wednesday morning in a crash on Interstate 83 in which he was ejected from his car and thrown down an embankment near Ruxton Road, police said. Speed and not wearing a seat belt were determined to have been factors in his death. There was nobody else in the vehicle, a 2004 Infiniti G5, officials said.

Michael Bouity, 26, of Towson, was pronounced deceased at the scene at 1:04 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Maryland State Police.

Authorities said that Bouity was speeding and lost control on I-83 at Ruxton Road, where his silver coupe hit the left guardrail and ricocheted across all lanes of traffic until it hit the right guardrail. There, he was ejected from the car, and his body went down an embankment, where police said he died from his injuries.
