JCK and MISHKA acoustic.

Mishka is a reggae acoustic musician who spent most of his life on sailboats throughout the carribbean and it shows in his writing. Its like Bob Marley meets Bob Dylan. The rakey tempos of reggae music mixed with personalized story telling. Itunes awarded him  singer/songwriter of the year  in 2009. On his tour he offers the opportunity for local musicians to be the opening act. Unlike some "big time" artists who have their tours set in stone with their own provided accompanying artists. This Saturday at the Recher Theatre, Mishka has given the opportunity to John Christian Kane.  JCK is a timonium native who offers what you would expect for a man with his acoustic, however the common reaction mostly is, "man he's got soul!". Thus turning  his seemingly ordinary acoustic style into a fluent blend of  Amos Lee meets John Legend. Its hard not to believe he hasn't been influenced by these two once having heard him. So this Saturday should be a perfect night to break away from electric life and come sip on an acoustic vibe with JCK and Mishka! Doors open at 8
