Regester Avenue Cleared Of Danger After Gas Leak: Officials
Some residents in the Towson area sheltered in place due to the utility problem Monday afternoon, officials said.

TOWSON, MD — A gas leak on Regester Avenue resulted in a shelter-in-place order for surrounding residents Monday afternoon near Towson, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.
Crews said they were dispatched to a gas leak in the 200 block of Regester Avenue at 1:48 p.m. on Monday.
BGE was making repairs while firefighters were on standby.

By 3:45 p.m., authorities said the situation was under control and firefighters were clearing the scene.
