GBMC’s Spring Nearly New Sale Returns
The semiannual sale featuring everything from gently used furniture to jewelry to sporting goods raises money for patient care at GBMC.

The Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) Volunteer Auxiliary Nearly New Sale Spring 2017, a successful fund-raising event, returns in late April at the Nearly New Sales Building located on the GBMC campus.
The semi-annual FREE event (spring and fall sales) – which in recent years has raised approximately $250,000 annually for patient care at the hospital -- offers GBMC employees, volunteers, and the general public an opportunity to purchase gently used treasures, trinkets, and necessities from furniture, clothing, jewelry and silver to appliances, sporting goods, toys and games, and much more -- at nominal prices. Recent proceeds have gone to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), the GBMC Center for Neurology, the Gilchrist Kids Endowment Fund and a new state of the art surgical simulation lab for clinicians and nurses on campus.
The event starts on Sat., April 29 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and continues on Sun., April 30 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wed., May 3(1/2 price day) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Thur., May 4 (2nd ½ price day) 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. On Sat., May 6, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., is bargain bag day.
