Hillendale Apartment Fire: 1 Person Injured, Officials Say

Firefighters said they were dispatched Tuesday night to an apartment building blaze on Hillendale Road where one person was rescued.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — One person was seriously injured in an apartment fire on Hillendale Road Tuesday night, according to officials. The blaze broke out on the first floor of an apartment building, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Crews were dispatched to the 7700 block of Hillendale Road at 8:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13.

Officials said one man was rescued and taken in serious condition to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

UPDATE: Man Dies From Hillendale Fire

Crews knocked the fire in about 15 minutes, according to fire officials. By 10:40 p.m., authorities reported the fire was out.
