I-695 Crash Snarling Traffic Near Providence Road
BREAKING: Traffic alert — Expect congestion in the area of Providence Road on the beltway.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A crash on the inner loop of the Baltimore beltway is causing delays Wednesday morning.
The two-vehicle crash was reported on I-695 before the exit for Providence Road after 9:30 a.m., transportation officials said. Two right lanes were closed for cleanup, causing congestion.
The crash cleared shortly after 10 a.m., but backups were present in the area of the Providence Road and Loch Raven exits.
