Idlewylde Fire Spread From Shed To House: Officials

Crews worked Sunday afternoon to contain a blaze near Idlewylde, according to Baltimore County fire officials.

TOWSON, MD — A shed fire broke out Sunday afternoon in Towson, according to authorities.

Crews were called at 3:05 p.m. to the 6300 block of Banbury Road, where officials said a shed was engulfed in flames.

The fire had been contained by 3:30 p.m., with no injuries reported, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department.

While initial reports were of a shed fire, the Providence Volunteer Fire Company said the flames extended to part of the residence.

By 4:10 p.m., authorities said the fire had been placed under control.
