Man Fatally Shot In Baltimore County's Woodlawn Area: Police
A 26-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday in the Woodlawn area, about three miles from where two young children were found dead at home.
BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — An investigation into a Sunday shooting is underway in the Woodlawn area after a man was found dead, police said.
Officers with the Baltimore County Police Department were called around 1:30 a.m. to the 1600 block of Whitehead Court, where a 26-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.
Police said the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Details regarding a possible motive or persons of interest were not released.
The incident comes amid an ongoing police investigation into the fatal shooting of two young children in the Gwynn Oak area.

The children were found dead inside their home on the 6100 block of Talles Road, which is located about three miles from where the Sunday shooting took place.
Police identified the two children as 9-year-old Steve Allen and 15-year-old Giovanna Marie.

Online tips can also be submitted through the Metro Crime Stoppers website or the department's iWATCH program. Officials are offering a $2,000 reward for eligible tips that tie back to either case.
