Man Found After GBMC Visit: Baltimore County Police

Police said man went missing Friday and was located Saturday.

UPDATE — Before midnight on Saturday, police said the missing man had returned safely.

TOWSON, MD — Authorities are asking for help finding an 82-year-old man who never returned home after visiting his wife at Greater Baltimore Medical Center (GBMC) on Friday.

Egbert Wright left the hospital in the 6700 block of North Charles Street around 6 p.m. and planned to stop at the grocery store, then return home, but he did not get there, according to police.

Wright was driving a silver 2016 Nissan Sentra with Maryland tag 4CS3186 when he left GBMC, according to police.

He was going to stop at Aldi on Reisterstown Road on the way home to his family in the 300 block of Cantata Court in Reisterstown Friday night but did not make it there, officials reported Saturday morning.

Last seen wearing a green coat and brown pants, Wright was described as a bald black man with a mustache and brown eyes. He was said to be 5'6" tall and 180 pounds.
