Woman With Down Syndrome Has Been Found: Police

A woman who disappeared in Towson on New Year's Day has been located, officials reported on Jan. 2.

TOWSON, MD — A woman who has Down syndrome was located within 24 hours of going missing in the Baltimore metro area. Police reported she had been found Wednesday afternoon.

Jade Litchfield, 34, disappeared from the 500 block of West Chesapeake Avenue in Towson, police said. She was last seen at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1.

She had been located by 4:25 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 2, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.

PREVIOUS REPORT — A woman who has Down syndrome is missing, and authorities are asking for help from the public in locating her. She was last seen at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 1.

Jade Litchfield, 34, disappeared from the 500 block of West Chesapeake Avenue, police said.

She is described as 5-feet-3-inches tall and 250 pounds with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Litchfield needs care and supervision, as she has cognitive delays, according to police.

Officials say she may be in Baltimore City.
