No Opening Date Yet Set for Gino's
The landlord said construction issues are pushing back the opening.

If you've waited years to bite into a Gino's Giant, the day is almost here. How close, though, is yet to be determined.
Jerry Wit, a senior vice president for St. John Properties, said Thursday that no opening date has been set for the new Towson location of Gino's, the reincarnation of the popular Baltimore chain.
"We're waiting on that from them, as a matter of fact," Wit said.

In April, that the new restaurant would be moving into Maryland Executive Park, with an opening targeted for mid-summer. The Towson location will be the second for the new Gino's chain, which relaunched last year in King of Prussia, PA.
Though the signs are out at the new restaurant, the interior is still a work in progress.

"I think [franchisee Scott Autrey] is up to his knees in construction issues right now," Wit said. "I don't think he wants to say we're opening July 15 and then miss the date."
Wit added that St. John is in negotiations with two other restaurants to join Gino's in the East Joppa Road retail space.
