Ravens Cornerback Arrested After Towson Bar Bathroom Incident: Police
NFL player Jimmy Smith did not obey the orders of an officer, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.
Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith, a first-round pick in the 2011 draft, was cited for disorderly conduct in connection with an incident at The Greene Turtle in Towson Saturday night, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.
After 9 p.m. on Saturday, the general manager of the restaurant in the 400 block of York Road flagged down an officer and said a woman was passed out in the bathroom, according to police.
Officers found a woman throwing up in the sink in the ladies' bathroom of The Greene Turtle, with a man holding her up, according to the report from police.

Paramedics were called and police said the man had to leave unless he was her relative or was helping her, The Baltimore Sun reported. The man said he was helping her and would not move from the doorway to let paramedics pass, according to The Baltimore Sun.
When an officer asked if the man and 29-year-old woman were together, he said they had been doing a photo shoot, according to WBAL.

Despite orders from officers, the man would not leave the bathroom until he was asked to leave three times, the report said. Once he was in the hallway, an officer arrested him and the man identified himself as James Michael Smith, 25, of the Baltimore Ravens, police said.
The football player was charged with failing to obey the lawful order of a police officer, according to the report.
Smith said that the officer only arrested him to get on the news, to which the officer responded he did not know who he was "and it would not have made a difference in the outcome of the incident," according to WBAL, which cited a police report.
Smith was issued a citation and released from the Towson precinct, police said. The woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment, according to The Baltimore Sun, which reported officers found what was believed to be cocaine inside her purse. It did not appear as of Sunday morning that charges had been filed against her.
This was the first time Smith has been arrested, according to ESPN.
Among Ravens players, it was the fifth reported brush with the law this off-season.See Also:
