Reward Raised To $5K For Info On Fatal Hit-And-Run

The motorist who struck Aaron Laciny, 20, in June is still at large, says Baltimore County Police Department.

TOWSON, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department has announced that the reward for information about the June 19 hit-and-run accident that killed a 20-year-old bicyclist has been increased to $5,000, according to a media report. Aaron Laciny, 20, of South Baltimore, was killed as he rode his bike on Charles Street near Charlesbrooke Road in Towson, and the motorist remains at large, the Baltimore Sun reported.

The original reward of $2,000 was increased by donations from Laciny’s family and from Bikemore, an advocacy group. Information that leads to an arrest and indictment in the case is eligible for the reward. (Get Patch’s daily newsletter and real-time news alerts, or like us on Facebook.
