Shooting Near Towson Crossing Apartment Homes Under Investigation
Police said an 18-year-old man sustained life-threatening injuries as a result of the shooting near Loch Raven Boulevard.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A teen was shot and injured near Towson Sunday night, according to police. Preliminarily, investigators say they believe the shooting was related to a robbery attempt.
Officers were called to the unit block of Dowling Circle before midnight on Sunday, where a man had been shot at least once in the upper body, police said.
The Towson Crossing Apartment Homes is located in the area where the shooting occurred.

According to police, the 18-year-old man had left his vehicle when two strangers started arguing with him, then got into a struggle and one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and shot him.
Authorities said the two suspects had left the scene before police arrived.

The shooting victim was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
