Shooting Under Investigation In Towson
Police from two jurisdictions are investigating after a shooting that was in the Towson area.
TOWSON, MD — There was a shooting in the Towson area Wednesday night, according to authorities. Police in both Baltimore City and Baltimore County are investigating.
"There was a shooting-related incident last night in the very late evening, in the vicinity of Maryland Avenue," Councilman David Marks said in a statement Thursday morning directed to his constituents in eastern Towson.
"This was not random and there is no threat to the community," Marks said. "I know these words are not settling to all concerned about crime, but passing along what I know."

Investigators don't know where the shooting occurred initially, according to Louise Rogers of the Baltimore County Police Department.
"It is being investigated here and the city," Rogers told Patch by phone Thursday morning. "Two agencies are investigating."

Authorities have not said if there were any injuries reported, or if there is a suspect in the case.
