Silver Alert Canceled For 84-Year-Old Man: Baltimore Co. Police

The man who got lost on his way home from Horseshoe Casino has been found in another county, police reported Friday morning.

The silver alert for an 84-year-old man has been canceled. Officials issued the alert Thursday night.

The man had gotten lost on his way home from Baltimore's Horseshoe Casino, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

He was located in Anne Arundel County, police reported before 5:30 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 8.

PREVIOUS REPORT (EXPIRED) — Police have issued a silver alert for a missing 84-year-old man. He last made a phone call around 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 7, officials said.

James Roache, 84, is driving a dark blue 2015 four-door Honda Accord with Maryland tags 9CMC92.

He was last in Laurel, where he called his wife from the phone at a gas station in the 300 block of Washington Boulevard, police reported; he told her he got lost after leaving the Horseshoe Casino on Russell Street in Baltimore.

Roache does not have a cell phone, and he suffers from a cognitive disorder, which may cause him to be confused, according to authorities.

He is described as 5-feet-7-inches tall and 185 pounds with blue eyes and white balding hair. He was wearing black cargo pants with a white and blue checkered shirt when last seen.
