Smoke Coming From Building In Towson Drew Firefighters: Officials

Firefighters were called to a York Road building on Saturday morning in Towson, the Baltimore County Fire Department reported.

TOWSON, MD — Firefighters responded to a call about smoke coming from a building in Towson on Saturday morning, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. Nobody was injured as a result of the fire, officials said.

Crews were dispatched to the 700 block of York Road, where authorities reported smoke was visible from the eighth floor of a building at 11:17 a.m. on Saturday, May 4.

Once they were at the location, firefighters said they found a pot of food burning.

By 11:35 a.m., officials reported the fire was out, and crews were clearing the scene.
