Some Field Trips Canceled: Baltimore County Public Schools

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — All field trips outside Maryland and Washington, D.C., have been canceled, according to Baltimore County Public Schools.

The school system issued the directive Monday night, hours after Gov. Larry Hogan announced at a news conference that state employees were not allowed to travel out of Maryland for work due to concerns over the spread of the new coronavirus.

Cancellation of trips outside D.C. and Maryland is effective "until further notice," Baltimore County Public Schools advised.
