Missing Student Has Been Found: Baltimore County Police

Police said a boy who disappeared on the way to school Tuesday morning has been located.

TOWSON, MD — Police have canceled the lookout for a teen reported missing on Tuesday, April 23. Authorities alerted people that a boy had disappeared on Loch Raven Boulevard after leaving for school.

By 1:40 p.m., police reported Kevontae Ware had been located. He was safe, according to police.


PREVIOUS REPORT (expired) — A 14-year-old who left for school Tuesday morning in Baltimore County never arrived, police reported Tuesday afternoon. The student made a stop on the way to school but did not ever get there.

Police said that Kevontae Ware, 14, left the 8500 block of Loch Raven Boulevard and headed for school around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23.

On the way to school, Ware stopped at 7-Eleven at 7:40 a.m., according to authorities.

When last seen, he was wearing green pants with a black Nike shirt and gray Nike shoes, police said. He is described as 5-feet-5-inches tall and 135 pounds.
