Suspected Counterfeiter Strikes Towson: Police
Police released a video of the criminal in action in Towson.
TOWSON, MD — Police have dubbed a man the "counterfeit currency suspect" after he ripped off a store in Towson recently. The heavyset bald man targeted Staples on Goucher Boulevard, according to police.
He used counterfeit $20 bills to pay for items on Sept. 2, authorities later discovered.
The suspect is described as 5-feet-10 inches tall, bald and "very heavyset."

Anyone with information about the identity of the counterfeiter is asked to call Officer Staines at the Towson Precinct at 410-887-2361.
Shoppers in Staples are asked to keep an eye out for the counterfeit currency suspect and to call 911 if they see him.
