TOWSON, MD — Police said a teen has been charged in the January attempted carjacking of two women in Stoneleigh. Both victims were injured in the robbery, according to police, who said additional suspects remain at large and there may be a reward for information.
The women had parked on the street in the 800 block of Stoneleigh Road when another car stopped behind them around 6:15 p.m. and three males approached, including one who had a handgun. The suspects demanded the vehicle and their belongings, according to officials.
Authorities said the 73-year-old woman who had been driving was hit in the head, and her 20-year-old passenger was hit in the face. Both suffered injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to the Baltimore County Police Department.
