Teens Charged in Towson Burglaries
Police said an alert citizen helped authorities identify suspects.

A tip from a citizen helped led to the arrest of two juveniles in connection with burglaries in the Towson area this week, according to police.
Police said that the citizen alerted authorities that youths were breaking into a vehicle in the 7100 block of Heathfield Road at 4:06 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
The suspects left in two vehicles, one of which was a black Honda that an officer tried to stop as it was headed north on Charles Street, according to police.

Officials pursued the car to Baltimore City, where it crashed on Northern Parkway and police said they took multiple people into custody.
Inside the Honda, police said they also found items taken in recent burglaries from the 200 block of Dumbarton Road and 700 Block of Scarlett Drive.

A computer and personal property had been taken from a residence on Dumbarton Road sometime after midnight on Wednesday, Aug. 12, police said.
Electronics and other items were taken from the Scarlett Drive residence, between 11 a.m. Tuesday and 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to police.
A gold Jeep Cherokee taken from Scarlett Drive was not recovered, according to police, who said the investigation was ongoing.
A 15 and 16-year-old boy were apprehended and charged as juveniles in connection with the incident, according to police.
